1. 14-day money-back guarantee on first paid period
If you upgrade to a paid plan for the first time and decide within 14 days that it's not for you, email us at support@drentio.com from the email on your account and we'll refund the first paid period in full. This guarantee applies once per account.
2. Monthly subscriptions
Outside the 14-day window above, monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month, and you'll keep access until then.
3. Annual subscriptions
For annual plans, after the 14-day window we'll consider a pro-rated refund for the unused remainder of the year if you cancel for a documented reason such as:
- A material outage we caused, lasting longer than 24 continuous hours, that we did not credit.
- A material feature you specifically signed up for is removed without an equivalent replacement.
- You're a consumer in a jurisdiction (e.g. parts of the EU/UK) where a statutory cooling-off or cancellation right applies — we honour those in full regardless of this Policy.
4. What's never refundable
- Add-on usage already consumed (e.g. paid scans counted, paid bulk credits used).
- Stripe / payment-processor fees that aren't returned to us.
- Subscriptions cancelled for breach of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Charges more than 90 days old (we ask you to raise refund issues promptly).
5. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe. They typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card network. Where the original method is no longer available, we'll issue store credit on your account.
6. Chargebacks
Please email us first — most issues are quicker to resolve directly. Filing a chargeback before contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution, because we have to respond to the dispute and may not be able to issue a separate refund at the same time.
