Opening hours widget
Show daily hours on your menu page.
Draft — this article hasn’t been written yet. Coming soon.
The opening hours widget shows your weekly schedule on the menu page. It's also "smart" — diners see "Open · closes 10pm" instead of the full schedule when you're currently open.
How to set them
Step 1 — Open Opening Hours tab
From Stores → your store → Opening Hours.
Step 2 — Set each day
For each day of the week, set whether you're open and which hours. Common patterns:
- Same hours every day — set Monday, then Copy to all weekdays / Copy to all days
- Closed on Mondays — tap the day's toggle to mark closed; it disappears from the diner widget
- Split shifts (lunch + dinner with a closed midday gap) — add two time ranges for one day
Step 3 — Set your timezone
Drentio uses your store's timezone (set in Settings) to compute "Open now" vs "Closed". If your hours look wrong on the diner side, double-check the store timezone first.
What the diner sees
The opening hours widget shows up at the top of your menu page as a small pill:
- "Open · closes 10pm" — currently open
- "Opens 9am" — closed but opens today
- "Closed today" — closed all day
- "Opens Tomorrow 9am" — closed but opens tomorrow
Tap the pill to expand the full weekly schedule.
Update your hours when they change. A holiday, a special event, an early close — diners trust the widget. If you're showing "Open" while you're actually closed, the diner walks up to a locked door. Worse than no widget at all.
