WiFi widget

Display your WiFi credentials + QR for diners.

ProPremium

The WiFi widget makes connecting trivially easy for diners: they tap a button, scan a small QR, and their phone joins automatically. No more "what's the WiFi password?" from every table.

How to set it up

Step 1 — Open WiFi tab

From Stores → your store → WiFi.

Step 2 — Enter your credentials

  • Network name (SSID) — exactly as it appears on phones (case-sensitive!)
  • Password — your WiFi password
  • Encryption — usually WPA/WPA2 for modern routers. Pick None for an open guest network.

That's it.

What the diner sees

A small WiFi-icon button appears in the menu page header. Tapping it opens a sheet showing:

  • Your network name (so they know which one to join)
  • A scannable WiFi QR code (modern iPhones + Androids connect on scan)
  • A copy-password button for the diner to paste manually

Use a separate "Guest" network for diners. Most routers let you create a second isolated network. That way:

  • Diners can't see your POS or office computers
  • A diner's compromised phone can't pivot into your business network
  • You can rotate the guest password without disrupting staff
